User Experience (UX) involves a person's emotions and attitudes about using a particular product, system or service.

User experience includes the practical, experiential, affective, meaningful and valuable aspects of human–computer interaction and product ownership. Skalpell is the one man company of me, Malin Ekman. With more than 10 years in the business I have a broad knowledge in interactive design. Starting my career as a frontend developer at Daddy (Gothenburg/Sweden) I soon went on to motion design, doing animation mainly in Flash.

Following Daddy in their journey becoming CP+B Europe I became their Sr Interactive Motion Designer. Further on, my interest in design and knowledge in interactions got me into visual design, joining the CP+B design team.

After several rewarding years with the company I finally decided to leave in order to explore my own capacity.

As a freelancer I have worked with most of the major ad agencies in Sweden and a couple abroad, as well as small startup companies, helping with Design, UX and Motion.
